The second English edition is published. The cover page was improved and there are some minor text changes. There are now some note pages in the book, so the kids can capture their ideas while reading the stories.

Hoobsy and Dubsy is the favorite book

Today, I received a very nice email from Risa (6 years old). Risa is a first grade student of the an elementary school in South Brunswick, NJ.

Her teacher gave the students the task to create a poster advertising their favorite book they had read in the previous month.  They had to bring the poster to class and in front of the class had to talk about the book to their classmates and teacher.  This involved summarizing the book, discussing what they liked about the book and why they would recommend it to their classmates.

Risa's favorite book is "What are we going to do today? Brilliant ideas with Hoobsy and Dubsy". Risa mentioned her favorite parts of the book were that she was really engaged when prompted to think about what she would do in Hoobsy and Doobsy’s situation, and that she could relate to the stories in the book (especially the writing a letter story and biking).

Thanks a lot, Risa, for sharing your story and your poster. You did a great job!

Hoobsy and Dubsy visited the Community Business Expo in West Windsor, NJ

Today was a business expo in the Village School in the West Windsor school district. It was amazing how many people were interested in the book and how much they appreciated the idea of "thinking outside the box" as a tool for kids. Many of the families took a book home. Hoobsy and Dubsy wish you fun with the book and a lot of "out of the box" inspirations.
